Talon Buchholz's career in horticulture spans nearly 60 years, with 44 years as owner and CEO of Oregon's famous Buchholz Nursery — wholesale growers of "Plants from the Best Corners of the World."

In addition Mr. Buchholz established the internationally renowned Flora Wonder Arboretum, a collection that features plants from all seven of earth's continents.

Buchholz entertained plant lovers for years with his Flora Wonder Blog and currently with his Travels with Flora Blog, both free of subscription. The public can view his plant photo library with its thousands of entries, a reference that has been described as his floral autography.

Talon is most proud of on-going relationships with many of the world's greatest plants-people, and has toured esteemed plant collections across America, Europe and Japan. As a native and life-long resident of America's Pacific Northwest, he cherishes its inspiring scenery and wealth of plants. For Talon every plant has a story which he loves to share with audiences of all ages, and with those at all levels of botanical experience.
